1. Service provider and contact
HealthMe is provided by Tomasz Cichoń - IT, referred to as the “Provider”. For questions about the app, complaints and data protection, contact cichonmail@gmail.com.
These Terms govern use of the app, including its recipe library, suggested meal plans, nutrition information, activity features and additional services. Available features depend on the app version and the offer selected.
2. Nature of the content and no dietetic care
HealthMe helps organise everyday meals and activity and provides culinary inspiration and general information. Recipes, meal plans, suggested portions, calorie targets, product assessments and exercise suggestions are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or healthcare services.
Meal plans and recipes may be produced automatically or with artificial intelligence. They are not professional plans prepared or individually reviewed by a dietitian. Using profile data, goals or preferences does not amount to a professional consultation, medical history or clinical safety assessment.
Using the app, purchasing a package or receiving a meal plan does not establish a patient–professional relationship. The words “plan”, “tailored” and “personal” describe the organisation of content using supplied data, rather than professional dietetic care.
3. Artificial intelligence and dish images
Dish images presented by HealthMe are AI-generated. Even a realistic illustration is a visualisation and serving suggestion, not a photograph of a meal that has actually been prepared and tested.
The image may differ from the prepared recipe in visible ingredients, garnish, colour, texture, proportions and portion size. Do not use it to determine ingredient amounts, composition, calories or allergens. Prepare the meal using the written recipe and an ingredient list you have checked.
AI content and automatic product recognition may contain errors, omissions or unsuitable suggestions. Scan results, product ratings and dietary labels do not replace the manufacturer's label or checking the actual ingredients.
4. Safe use
Assess whether a suggestion is suitable for your circumstances before using it. Consult a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet if you have allergies, chronic conditions, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an eating disorder or have special nutritional needs. Minors need appropriate support from a guardian and a professional.
Check labels, allergens, possible cross-contamination, expiry dates and storage conditions. Entering allergies or exclusions in your profile does not guarantee that every suggestion is safe. The app does not identify all contraindications and cannot replace individual professional assessment.
Follow food hygiene, safe cooking and equipment instructions. Do not change medical treatment based on app content. If concerning symptoms occur, stop following the suggestion and seek medical assistance. Choose exercises appropriate to your abilities and contraindications.
5. Estimates and no guaranteed outcome
Calories, macronutrients, energy requirements, quantities and preparation times are estimates. Actual values depend on the product, manufacturer, weighing method, preparation and portion size. Recognising an image is not a laboratory measurement.
The Provider does not guarantee a particular body weight, rate of weight change, health improvement, fitness level or other outcome. Results depend on individual circumstances. This does not remove the obligation to supply a paid service that conforms to the contract.
6. Access, accounts and user responsibilities
Some features work locally without an account. An account and internet connection are required for functions such as submitting orders and downloading private results. The app requires a compatible device and operating system as specified in the App Store; your network provider may charge for connectivity.
Provide accurate information, protect account access and use the app lawfully. Do not upload other people's data, photographs or materials without appropriate authority. Do not attempt to bypass security, access another person's account or disrupt the service.
Data stored only locally may be lost when the app or device data is deleted. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not request deletion of a server account. You can delete the account and its server data in the app: Profile → Delete account.
7. Packages and payments
Paid features are optional. Before purchase, the app and the App Store confirmation screen present the price, package scope and material conditions. Buying an inspiration package does not include a consultation or a professional dietetic plan.
In-app payments are handled by Apple. HealthMe receives information needed to verify the transaction and grant access, but does not receive your payment card number. The order scope and package availability follow the offer presented before purchase.
Withdrawal and refunds are governed by applicable law and the relevant Apple procedure. Starting generation or personalising content does not automatically remove consumer rights. Any restriction requires the statutory conditions to be met, including required consents and disclosures.
Premium subscriptions
The app offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions with the same Premium benefits. The price, billing period and access scope are shown before purchase. Manage your subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; deleting your HealthMe account or uninstalling the app does not cancel your Apple subscription. The Premium trial available to eligible accounts lasts 72 hours, requires separate activation and does not trigger an automatic payment.
8. Liability
Users decide how to use the content with regard to its inspirational nature, their own needs and professional advice. The Provider does not undertake to diagnose health conditions or ensure that suggestions have a therapeutic effect.
To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not responsible for consequences of use contrary to the app's intended purpose or instructions, inaccurate information supplied by the user or a user's independent recipe changes, where the harm does not arise from circumstances for which the Provider is legally responsible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for personal injury, intentional harm and failure to perform or properly perform obligations towards a consumer. These Terms do not remove mandatory statutory rights.
9. Complaints and consumer rights
You may submit a complaint to cichonmail@gmail.com or by any other legally permitted method. To help us investigate, describe the issue, when it occurred, your requested resolution and how we can reply. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or full payment card details.
The Provider responds to consumer complaints within 14 days of receipt unless a different statutory period applies. Users retain statutory remedies for failure to supply or lack of conformity of digital content or services, including bringing the service into conformity, a price reduction or withdrawal where the law provides.
Apple's payment refund procedures do not prevent a complaint to the Provider. Consumers may seek help from a consumer ombudsman and use applicable out-of-court dispute resolution procedures under the relevant rules.
10. Content rights and uploaded materials
The app, its branding and content are protected to the extent provided by law. You may use them personally through the features provided. Redistribution and commercial use require the relevant permission where the law requires it. AI generation alone does not determine whether copyright exists or its scope.
Uploading a photograph or other material does not transfer ownership to the Provider. You allow it to be used as needed to perform the selected function, including disclosure to the relevant technical provider described in the Privacy Policy. Do not upload third-party materials without a lawful basis.
11. Availability and changes
The service may require updates and maintenance. The Provider communicates material limitations where they are known and affect fulfilment of orders. This does not remove obligations concerning conformity with the contract or required updates.
Changes to these Terms may follow changes in law, security requirements or actual changes to features. Material changes require advance notice and the rights required by law. Changes do not apply retroactively or remove rights acquired through paid orders.
12. Final provisions
The separate Privacy Policy explains data processing. Accepting these Terms or reading the Policy does not, by itself, constitute consent to processing special categories of personal data or consent to marketing.
Applicable law governs matters not covered here. Any choice of Polish law does not deprive consumers of protection under mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence. Disputes are heard by the courts competent under applicable law.
